Celebrations at the Bay Wedding

A beautiful day for a Celebrations at the Bay Wedding. Kelsey and Andrew’s day started out with prep at the Live! Casino & Hotel and from there it was on to Celebrations at the Bay, a gorgeous venue in Pasadena we know well! From their sweet vows, heartfelt and tearful toasts by the dads, to the dueling pianos of Felix and Fingers keeping the crowd on their feet dancing and singing, this was a day to remember for all in attendance. We were so thrilled to be a part of their celebration and honored to be their photographers! Celebrations at the Bay provided a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony, formal photos, and the nighttime romantics!
It was a windy day but that just added to the atmosphere, especially when they did their first look out on the dock. It was a romantic moment, just the two of them (and us!). Like all our first looks, we orchestrated this very carefully for them because they wanted the best photos and video from this moment. However just because we plan the first moment doesn’t mean it takes an exorbitant amount of time. Quite the opposite; on average first looks take just 3 or 4 minutes. And for couples that want to do them, they’re worth it!
