These two found each other in the darkness and took a huge step in their life journey together at the lovely Drumore Mill surrounded by friends and family. This historic and charming wedding venue is nestled in the deep woods of Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County and features a beautiful river and waterfall that makes for stunning romantics if you’re brave enough to venture into the water! Winni and Nick were (so was Rob!) and the results were spectacular.
Theirs is a love story for the ages and to witness this huge milestone was an honor to bear witness to it. We connected with Winni & Nick through Nick’s sister Katie whose wedding we had photographed a few years back so there were some familiar faces at this event which is always a delight.
Their big day was coordinated by the talented team at Celebrate by Kate. Kate and her staff kept the day running on schedule while Tori Jacobs at All Party Starz kept the guests entertained with music and trivia. The bride & groom played the “Shoe Game” which has become a staple of many weddings these days and is a fun way to engage your guests and learn things about the bride & groom you might not otherwise have known.
Wrapping up the evening with a bubbles exit (a safe and fun alternative to sparklers) made this a day that will live on in the memory of everyone in attendance and will forever hold a special place in our hearts for sure. It was romantic and touching with a relaxed vibe that set the perfect tone for this couple’s celebration.
